I swam competitively for fourteen years, ending my swimming career with four years on the University of Virginia club swim team. After graduating, my sister introduced me to CrossFit and I was instantly hooked because of its practicality, variety, and real world “functional fitness” applications. I began coaching CrossFit Kids to instill a love of fitness and healthy lifestyle in children and teenagers. I’ve found that fitness is a lifestyle and it is best to begin at a young age to develop physically, as well as mentally, healthier adults. Coaching CrossFit Kids and Teens allows me to portray the fun of fitness and instill a positive ideology behind health and wellness throughout all factors of childhood and teenage lives.
